A chased, gilt and patinated bronze "vase" clock; the cover in the form of a laurel torus finished in a seed; the grips in the form of satyr masks surmounted by intertwined serpentine motifs and attached to garlands of laurel; the base with gadroons; the pedestal with flutes and foliated torus; the contoured base with a cavet decorated with rosettes and a reserve with a laurel garland tied with ribbons. The circular white enamelled dial, signed " Maison Marquis Languereau & Cie à Paris ", indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in increments of five in Arabic numerals by two pierced and gilded copper hands.
