In June 1932 he indicates "My dear master, you will find enclosed the copy of the project of compromise that you kindly sent me. I do not see any other modifications to make to it than those that I have taken the liberty of noting in the margin of this copy. [Please accept, my dear Master, the assurance of my most distinguished sentiments; (s.d.) "Your letter touches me very deeply.
