Set of 5 L.A.S. to Antoine Bourseiller. 2 L.A.S to Antoine Bourseiller, March 24, 1975 (s.l.n.d.) 2 pp. in-folio. Beautiful letterhead of the Récamier Bourseiller Theater, for the letter of March 24. (S.d.) He begins by presenting his apologies, then evokes the theater "...It is also to apologize that I am writing to you, I have a thousand marks and a wounded foot. Since I have to go with Mohamed to Marseilles, I will see you only when I return [...] Be sure that I will not interfere in your work, I say like that three or four words that everyone knows since a long time ago [...]"; on March 24 he specifies "[....] I authorize Monsieur Antoine Bourseiller - and I ask him to receive the sum of 10,000 (ten thousand) francs representing an advance on my rights and others of the Balcony, (a play I wrote) and which will be played at the Théâtre Récamier on April 22 [...]". Autograph notes on various subjects "For Antoine le Taciturne Bourseiller", the first two of which are numbered and signed. Aix en Provence (s.d.) 4 p. ¾ in-8. Header of the Hôtel du Roy René. Very interesting notes of an extremely sharp mind and full of humor. Genet speaks first of Victor Hugo, about Angelo's rehearsals: "What a funny fellow your Victor [...] He then reports fragments of conversations overheard at random in the salons of the Hôtel du Roi René. Autograph notes addressed to Chantal Darget. Aix en Provence (n.d.) 3 p. ¼ small in-8. Letterhead of the Hôtel du Roi René. Fragments of conversations overheard in the lobby of the Hotel with comments: "Bonjour jacqueline [...] moi, pas du tout. I am Edgar Faure's aunt [...] no, I don't like him at all [...]". Set including a L.A.S. and 1 P.A.S. "Armand Salacrou" president of the Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers. March 19, 1929. 2 pp. in-fol. 1 p. in-4. Printed on the letterhead of the Théâtre Récamier-Bourseiller and of the Soc. des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques. On March 19, 1969, a letter signed by Armand Salacrou, announces to Jean Genet that he is admitted "as a trainee member of the Soc. Attached to this letter is the power of attorney: "I authorize Monsieur Antoine Bourseiller [...]" .
