Another battle is fought in front of Palmyra. In the top left-hand corner of the tapestry, we see the queen on her camel in the midst of the melee. The Palmyrians will soon open their gates to Aurelian, and at the top center of the tapestry we see Zenobia forced to flee by boat on the Euphrates.
