Description:
Several characters evolve in the composition: on the right, a gypsy woman reads palm lines to a peasant and thus diverts his attention, while a young boy rummages in his pocket. Four other women enliven the composition, one of whom, on the left, holds a child in her arms. The tapestry is framed by a beautiful border (original) in the imitation of an elaborate frame.
