Carpet woven in Aubusson, France An old rose central rosette surrounded by a wreath of flowers stands out against an ivory field adorned with quivers and vases in bloom, surrounded by the same garland of flowers, all set against a salmon-pink background where the garland continues, embellished with acanthus leaf scrolls and flower vases in spandrels. A beige frame-like border completes the composition. Wool warp and weft 18th century, circa 1775, transition Louis XV - Louis XVI 5.80 x 4.65 m - 19ft x 15ft 3 Good condition, some maintenance restorations and 19th-century reweaving (due to a chimney).
