Persian carpet with "Zilli Sultan" pattern The Zilli Sultan design features two birds perched on either side of a flowering vase, on a cream background, surrounded by a main border and two friezes with spearhead decoration. This decoration, dating from the second half of the 19th century, came from Prince Maksud Mirza, a great art lover. Circa 1930-1940 Hand-knotted wool rug on cotton warp and weft 1.98 x 1.35 m - 6ft 6 x 4ft 5 Good condition
