Exhibition: 1962, Lake Forest College, Illinois 1969, The Museum of Primitive Art, New York Elegant Senufo statuette featuring a dynamic female figure. Beneath a sagittal crest, the slender face features a series of scarifications on the cheeks. The breasts are ogive-shaped, the navel protruding, the feet resting firmly on the ground. The muscular body exudes power. A slight asymmetry breathes movement into the sculpture.
