An ancient monstrance axe with a wooden handle covered in barter cloth, ending in a large stone disk. These objects were used as blade-holders, with the wooden handle serving only to enhance the lithic element. Nephrite, considered a valuable commodity, was used as a currency of exchange and as an emblem of prestige.
