COLLATION: π6 A-Z 2A-Z 3A-G2 H1 either, XII pp. 214 pp. ILLUSTRATION: 75 copper-engraved plates, 40 full-page and 35 half-page. 19th CENTURY BINDING. Half tan basane with corners, long ornate spine. Without the last blank leaf. Corners dulled, hinges rubbed. The original edition appeared in Italian in Rome in 1706 under the title : Le Pitture Antiche delle Grotte di Roma...
