Marks of use to binding, small marginal tears to leaves without reaching the figures.
Père Magnan (1731-1796), of Provençal origin, was superior of the Minimes convent at Trinité des Monts. "Of all works of this kind, it contains the most order and method; the judgments made on monuments, statues and paintings are exact and full of taste" (Hoefer).
