L.", bearing the Greek motto on a phylactery "Δοκιμάζειν κατέχειν" ("I confirm I own it") -- Paris, June 4, 2013, no. 35 Rubbed binding Plate numbered V depicts the famous porphyry vase found during the destruction of the towers in 1786. This, along with the white marble vases illustrated in this book, are on display today at the Musée Granet in Aix-en-Provence.
