[EMMANUELLE]. ARSAN Emmanuelle [Marayat and Louis-Jacques Ro - Lot 136
[EMMANUELLE]. ARSAN Emmanuelle [Marayat and Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane]. Emmanuelle. Part One: La leçon d'homme, Losfeld, 1959. Second part: L'Anti-vierge, Losfeld, 1960. 2 volumes in-8, black half-box, spines titled in palladium, slipcase lined (B. Bichon). First edition of these two parts, which originally formed a single manuscript. Edition not mentioned. In fact, 1,000 copies on vellum were printed by J.M. Monnerie in Viry-Chatillon. These works were first condemned, one on May 10, 1960, the other on July 18, 1963. The author of this text, made famous by the seventh art, is Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane, husband of Marayat Bibidh (Emmanuelle Arsan). He was a diplomat, a member of the French representation at Unesco after some time stationed in Bangkok (Dutel). First volume: - Telegram from Marayat (E. Arsan) to Molinier. - Letter of December 15 signed Marayat (but written by her husband Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane, as is all the correspondence). - Draft from Molinier, who is thinking of sending Marayat a "little box with his sperm, fingernails and blood-soaked fleece" (!). Second volume: - Page of tiny portraits of Marayat annotated on the spine by Molinier. - Two photomontages depicting Marayat in the nude, printed front and back by Molinier. Unique and exceptional set
