ERHMANN Gilles PORTRAITS BY GASTON CHAISSAC. 2 ORIGINAL SIGNED PHOTOGRAPHS. 30.5 x 23.5 cm, the first matted. Color silver print signed on verso by Gilles Ehrmann depicting Gaston Chaissac seated against a low wall, his face masked by one of his compositions. This photograph illustrates the cover of the 1962 book Les Inspirés et leur demeure, prefaced by André Breton. The second photograph, a black-and-white silver print, shows Gaston Chaissac in a different shot, seated in front of his window, bouquet in hand, face covered with the same composition. It is also signed on the reverse by Gilles Ehrmann.
