An exceptional copy with this autograph note in ink by Robert Doisneau: On page 106, I find Madame Fanni in the circus box, to whom I owe my first sexual emotions. When I was 6 years old, the circus was mounted at the Porte d'Italie, and the thighs of Mademoiselle Fanni, then a star rider, trembled on the back of the dappled horse. A vision of paradise.
