Photograph taken at the Villa Vallette in Le Coudray, where several members of the Collège de pataphysique, including Vian, Sainmont, the printer Barnier, Caradec, Ionesco, etc., appear. On the reverse of the photograph, bearing the stamp Ordre de la Grande Gidouille, autograph text signed by Sainmont addressed to a pataphysician: ... "you must believe that I'm immobilizing indefinitely your beautiful TENIR, a book I once had but lost. So happy to see it again, still admirable, but what to do with it? Perhaps you'd like to have it returned to you, with an exquisite quotation, we wouldn't want to deprive you of this pleasure, and me first of all, since I owe it to you to have been able to soak again in this source so pure, say it and believe me, your affectionate cannibal Sainmont". On the reverse of this historic photograph, Sainmont (appointed deputy provéditeur général and rogateur of the Collège de Pataphysique on May 11, 1948, one of the pseudonyms along with Emmanuel Peillet's mythical Julien Torma) has inscribed the names of the people present. Enclosed is an erotic card from the Collège de Pataphysique signed by Sainmont: je suis désolé de ne pas aller à vos cours mais j'ai six mois de retard pour tout par suite de la déménagerie.
