In-8, garnet-red morocco, gilded fillet and wide lacework of plant motifs (thistles and orchids) mosaicked in various tones, spine decorated with the same motifs in the caissons, interior framing decorated with gilded fillets with repetition of certain mosaic motifs, marbled silk lining and endpapers, gilded head on witnesses, cover and spine, slipcase (period binding). 27 compositions by Georges Rochegrosse etched by Eugène Decisy. One of the 80 first copies on japon impérial containing 3 states of etchings, including the pure etching. Quality mosaic binding, unsigned, in the Blanchetière style. Prospectus added. Minor rubbing to spine.
