Large in-8, jansenist green morocco, spine decorated with two mosaic birds pecking at each other, nerves underlined with cold fillets running over the boards, wine-leather morocco lining set with a gilded fillet and decorated with different mosaic compositions, dark blue moire endpapers, marbled paper double endpapers, gilded edges on witnesses, cover and spine (Ch. Meunier 1901). 42 compositions by Raphaël Collin etched by Champollion, including one on the frontispiece and one on the title. Taduction by Jacques Amyot, revised, corrected and completed by Paul-Louis Courier. One of the 50 copies of the grand luxe edition on papier à la cuve, printed for the publisher A. Ferroud. Ferroud, this one containing a suite of engravings with remarks. Lined binding by Charles Meunier, decorated on the lining with mimosa branches and mosaic birds. From the Henri Lenseigne library (I, 1930, n°472). Some light foxing, small chip to the upper cover with the adjacent bit slightly split.
