In-4, navy-blue morocco, very wide grey morocco frame with a frieze of lotus flowers rising from a brown listel, similarly decorated spine, orange morocco lining decorated with a repeating decoration of a stylized leafy daisy surrounded by a grey morocco listel, mordor faille endpapers, gilt edges on witnesses, gilt roulette on the edges, cover and spine, case (Ch. Meunier 1906). 18 copper-engraved illustrations in full color, including 5 hors-texte, by Paul Gervais, engraved by Xavier Maccard. Edition of 100 copies on Arches vellum, this one with two suites in black, including the pure etching, an original full-page watercolor, and a suite with color decomposition of six etchings. Menu added. Superb, perfectly fresh binding by Charles Meunier.
