Attractive edition of this chanson de geste composed at the end of the 12th century in northern France, printed with new typefaces designed by Eugène Grasset. 12 watercolors by Manuel Orazi reproduced in facsimile, and a pattern-colored cover from the Nervet workshops. The text is set in attractive frames decorated with medieval motifs. A pleasing copy, the spine finely decorated with gilded irons.
