In-8, fawn basane, first cover decorated with a pyrographed and painted composition, smooth spine decorated with pyrographed motifs, inner border decorated with cold-printed vegetal motifs, untrimmed, first cover, slipcase (Bretault). First edition, with a portrait and cover by Steinlen. One of the 80 first copies on japon impérial, this one enriched with : - an original signed watercolor by Léon Dax. - an autograph letter signed by Jean Rictus, dated March 22, 1928 (one page in-8), addressed to his "dear Briant", in which he claims 300 francs and recalls the episode when he sold the manuscript of his work. - a bill signed Gabriel Randon (one page in-12). Binding decorated with a pyrographic composition painted by Lucien-Victor Guirand de Scevola, a Symbolist artist. From the Du Bourg de Bozas - Chaix d'Est d'Ange library (bookplate). Spine a little rubbed and faded.
