CAMBRY (Jacques). Description du département de l'Oise. Paris, Didot, 1803. 2 volumes in-8 of text and an atlas in-4 oblong, green half-percaline (Binding circa 1900). First edition. The atlas contains 46 attractive copper-engraved or aquatint plates, several of which fold out: a frontispiece, a map of the Oise département, and 44 plates of views of monuments, ruins and towns (Beauvais, Noyon, Senlis, Chaumont, Chantilly, Ermenonville, Dameraucourt, Pierrefonds castle, Savignies pottery, view of an excavation at Brantuspantum, Verberie, Pont Sainte-Maxence, etc.).). Wet stamp on title page of the library of the Friars Minor of Quebec, and large dry stamp of the same provenance on several plates. First plate of atlas detached. Joints split on text volumes.
