3 fine lithographed plates by Lemercier after C. Pensée, printed on chine collé (bird's-eye view of the château, view of the cupola of the grand staircase, and view of the grand staircase).
Copy with an autograph letter signed by the author, dated Blois, March 28, 1839, addressed to a Mr. Jarry in Orléans (3 pages).
A fine copy, bound in the period by an Orléans bookbinder, signed with his label: Adolphe Colas, relieur établi 1 rue Pavée à Orléans.
Minor spotting in the margins of the plates.

A handsome, well-bound copy, bearing on one endpaper a signed letter from Joseph Walsh dated 1851.
