Paris, De l'Imprimerie de Didot le jeune, 1828. Booklet in-4, 27 pages, modern bradel boards. First edition. The author, a native of Arles, witnessed the terrible epidemic that ravaged India and especially Bengal in the summer of 1818. It was the first cholera pandemic in history: the disease broke out in India in 1817 and reached Europe in 1830.
