Paris, Chez l'Éditeur de la Galerie d'armes de Madrid, 1838. 2 volumes in one oblong folio, black half-chagrin (19th century binding). 123 (of 124) fine engraved plates after drawings by Victor Sansonetti, a former pupil of Ingres, representing famous tapestries, including 24 for the Bayeux Tapestry. Copy with the plates in black. One of the Bayard Tapestry plates is missing (the copy contains only 3 of the 4 plates listed in the table). Some plates browned, some Bayeux Tapestry plates browned at edges. Binding a little worn.
