Memoirs, containing notes on his ministry and the history of his two trips to France. Caen, Poisson, 1832. 2 volumes in-8, pink half calf with corners, spine decorated, speckled edges (period binding). First edition of the first French translation, by Abbé Jamet. Cardinal Pacca, a fierce enemy of Napoleon, was imprisoned by the Emperor and held captive for four years in Grenoble. A fine copy, in an attractive, fresh contemporary binding.
