Large paper copy, bound in morocco with the coat of arms of Marie-Josèphe de Saxe (1731-1767), dauphine of France.
Daughter of Frederick-Augustus III, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, she was the second wife of the Dauphin Louis de France (son of Louis XV) and the mother of three kings who ruled France: Louis XVI, Louis XVIII and Charles X. Her personal library contained only books of piety and small numbers of works on theology, history, music and the fine arts, generally well bound (cf. Quentin Bauchart, Les Femmes bibliophiles de France, t. II, pp. 91-104).
The copy appeared in Bulletin Morgand (November 1895, no. 26699).
