Beautiful morocco binding from the workshop of François Gaudreau, Queen Marie-Antoinette's bookbinder, signed on the upper flyleaf at the bottom of the morocco. Without the leaf of the Brevet qui ordonne... Covers foxed. A split jaw over the height of a box, another restored, restoration to the upper headpiece and to a corner, small loss at the tail.
