C. Julii Caesaris quae extant. Ex emendatione Jos. Scaligeri. Leiden, Ex Officina Elzeviriana, 1635. In-12, overlapping ivory vellum, gilt filleting with fleuron at corners, coat of arms in center, traces of binding, smooth spine decorated (Dutch binding of the period).
First Elzevirian edition, decorated with a copper-engraved title-frontispiece, a medallion portrait of Julius Caesar, 5 full-page woodcuts in the text, and 3 folding maps. (Willems, n°420.)
