DAUDET (Julia) Fragments d'un livre inédit. Paris, Charavay frères, s.d. [1884]. In-12, bradel half-calf havane with corners, smooth spine with gilt title throughout, gilt numeral at head and tail, gilt head, untrimmed, cover (Period binding). First edition, dedicated to Théodore de Banville. A copy by Francisque Sarcey (1827-1899), journalist and drama critic, bound in his cypher and bearing a signed letter from Julia Daudet. Letter signed by the author (3 pages on 2 bristol paper cards with Julia Daudet's name) mounted at the head. Minor spotting on first cover. Minor rubbing to corners and covers.
