New edition of Walter Scott's first novel, originally published in 1814 (Todd & Bowden, 77Aj). A fine copy, as issued in original boards. Period handwritten bookplate at the top of the titles (except on volume II, where it has been torn off, without affecting the title). Slight wetness at the corners of a few leaves.
