Paris, Ernest Flammarion, 1926. 2 volumes in-12, light blue box, title mosaic in blue and gold morocco on the first cover, partly set off by a curved gilt fillet running across the spine and over the second cover, smooth spine with the author's name in gilt lettering, silver moire lining and endpapers, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine, folder and slipcase (A. Devauchelle 2005). First editions. One of 175 head copies on hollande for Chéri, bearing this signed mailing: à Monsieur Scaramanga que je ne connais pas, mais qui "habille" bien. One of 50 copies on chine for La fin de Chéri, this one including the 32 pages (pp. 157-188) of the third chapter forgotten at the time of printing by the publisher, which should have been placed between pp. 156 and 157: printed on ordinary paper, they were bound at the end of the volume (cf. Colette, cat. expo. Bibliothèque nationale, 1973, no. 546).
