The only daughter of Trophime Gérard, Marquis de Lally-Tollendal (1751-1830) and therefore granddaughter of the unfortunate Commandant General of all French establishments in the Indies, she married Henri-Raymond d'Aux de Lescout (1782-1870) in 1807, who was authorized to take over his father-in-law's Pairie.
Marquise Lucy de La Tour du Pin, in her "Journal d'une femme de cinquante ans", described her as follows: "Very small of stature, her head adorned with superb black hair, she had a dazzling, rose-fresh complexion, and the most beautiful eyes in the world."
Their descendants include members of the following families: Fournier d'Arthel,Halna du Fretay, Lhomer, de Menou, du Quesnoy, de Vassal-Sineuil
