Square with geometric design Polychrome silk on linen Greece, probably Dodecanese, 18th century 41 x 40 cm (stain, wear) This linen fabric is embroidered with green and red threads, mainly in cross-stitch. A large central diamond pattern is formed of chevrons, around and within which numerous geometric motifs unfold in friezes.
