With crowned head and outstretched wings, the bird is paved on the front with 72 table-cut cabochons, with a central circular motif on the chest centered by a larger crystal; the rest of the body is entirely covered with opaque enamel depicting feathers; gold crown, beak and claws; screw fastening on the back. Spain or southern Italy, 17th century H. 4.3 cm - L. 6.2 cm - Gross weight: 33.5 g (very slight accidents, notably to the wingtips)
