ALMANACH ROYAL, year 1785. Paris, D'Houry, s.d. In-8, red morocco, triple filet gras et maigre, large fleur-de-lis at the corners, coat of arms in the center, smooth spine decorated with large fleur-de-lis, interior roulette, blue moiré silk lining and endpapers, gilt edges (Period binding). A large paper copy bearing the coat of arms of René-Nicolas-Charles-Augustin de Maupéou (1714-1792), Chancellor and Keeper of the Seals of France, principal Minister of State under Louis XV. The calendar is interleaved. From the Hely-Hutchinson library (bookplate). Fine restoration to binding (hinges, headpieces and corners).
