ALMANACH. - State of the Navy. Année bissextile 1788. Paris, De l'Imprimerie de la Veuve d'Houry, s.d. [1788]. Small in-12, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, ornate smooth spine, interior roulette, gilt edges (Period binding). Almanac composed solely of the official state of the Navy, whose department, in 1788, was under the command of the Comte de La Luzerne. Grand-Carteret, no. 355, indicates that this almanac appeared from 1763 to 1790, and that from 1778 onwards, the Almanach des colonies is usually added to copies: this is not the case here. A fine copy in morocco.
