Remarkable woodcut illustrations, including numerous woodcuts in the text, many signed by Jost Amman. Printed in German Gothic.
The volume contains only the last two parts (of three) of the edition: the second part consists of an account of the tournaments, processions and other entertainments that took place in Vienna in May and June 1566, while the third concerns the festivities organized for the entry of Charles V and his sons into Bintz on August 22, 1549. It is complete with the fold-out plate depicting a tournament scene in the second part.
The end of the third part (5 leaves) is incomplete. Small repair at the top and bottom of the title, and in the margin of three other leaves. Aureole at the top of the folding plate, at the fold.
