First edition of this treatise on political economy by Bartolomeu Filipe (1480-1590), a Portuguese jurist and thinker who spent a long time in Spain. Rare Coimbra printing. The only copy listed in the Catalogue collectif de France is kept at the BnF, Réserve des livres rares. Old signatures on title. Wormhole on title and first dedication leaf, hole on leaf D3 with loss of letters on two lines, small crack repaired at foot of leaf E1. Several leaves are dampstained and stained. Last two leaves restored, with loss of words. Spine heavily creased.
