Set of 3 works in an in-8 volume, grained calf, cold-stamped fillets, gilded coat of arms in center, ribbed spine, red title page (17th-century binding). Collection of three texts in first editions relating to the history of the French monarchy. The volume is embossed with a coat of arms unknown to Olivier, but which seems to resemble that of the Savoy-Carignan family. The first two volumes each bear a handwritten bookplate of a member of the Ribier de Blois family (François Ribier and Michel Ribier): this family of soldiers and magistrates played an important role in the intellectual and political life of Blois and its region during the 16th century.
