Rouen, Thomas Daré, 1610 [at the end of the second part: Absoluit Robertus de Rouves, 10 avril 1610]. 2 parts in a large volume in-8, fawn basane, boards and spine framed with a double fillet and entirely covered with a semé of monograms and fermesses, with gilded coat of arms in the center of the boards, gilded edges, modern box (Binding of the period). Rouen edition of the Apophtegmes by Conrad Wolffhart (1518-1561), known as Lycosthenes, an Alsatian humanist and philologist who taught grammar and dialectics in Basel. Spectacular binding with the coat of arms of Cardinal Maurice de Savoie (1593-1657), brother of Duke Victor-Amédée I, whose daughter Louise de Savoie he married in 1642 after resigning from the cardinalate.
