First edition, with 2 frontispieces and 192 (96 + 96) intaglio plates depicting details, fabriques or garden plans, the latter printed on 166 leaves, 20 of which fold out in the second volume. Text printed on three columns in French, English and German. The first volume is detached from the spine, with some wear to the binding.
