MALLARMÉ (Stéphane). Poésies. Brussels, Edmond Deman, 1899. In-4, paperback, filled cover, black half-maroquin folder and slipcase (P.-L. Martin). Partly original edition, 15 pieces appearing here for the first time. It features an etched frontispiece by Félicien Rops, La Grande lyre, a reduction of the one used for the first edition of Poésies in 1887. The typically Art Nouveau cover, though unsigned, was designed by Théo Van Rysselberghe. One of the first 50 copies on japon.
