BROLEY OF NEW SITSROEN TO MISS CAROLINE TARDIEU, smooth spine decorated with a cold cathedral plate, interior roulette, gilt edges (Germain-Simier).
Attractive romantic binding by Louis Germain, known as Germain-Simier, a bookbinder active in Paris in the first half of the 19th century.
On the spine, it is titled Album and bears the date 1834. It covers an album of blank leaves, the first 20 of which are filled with souvenirs of trips to Savoy, Switzerland and Italy, aboard Citroën and Peugeot vehicles in 1935-1938.
