VIGNY (Alfred de). Œuvres complètes. Paris, Delloye, 1837-1839. 7 volumes in-8, half dark green basane, spine decorated with rocaille iron, speckled edges (period binding). First collective edition, including the complete first edition of the poems and, in volume VI, the first edition of The Merchant of Venice. Copy in an attractive romantic binding decorated with large rocaille irons. A few restorations (headbands), two jaws partly split, a few freckles.
