CHINA - Transition period, 17th century Porcelain pot decorated in blue underglaze and polychrome enamels in the wucai style with servants in gardens, one bringing gifts, the other a wrapped qin. The shoulder is decorated with a frieze of lotus scrolls (cracks, wear to enamels). H. 30 cm Mounted as a lamp, with the foot and neck mounted in gilt bronze at a later date. The condition of the porcelain under the mounting is not guaranteed.
