Sukuru hyena mask from the Korè initiation society, corresponding to the first of the three classes of initiates (hyena - lion - monkey).
The face is ovoid and concave. The mask is flanked by two ears that rise vertically above the head.
At the top of the skull, a small cylinder resembles a hyena's powder puff.
