Dan mask Ivory Coast Wood H. 24 cm Provenance : - Former Grégoire Laparade collection, France Originally from western Sudan, the Dan people live in the mountainous regions of northwestern Côte d'Ivoire and northeastern Liberia. Inscribed in a light-brown oval, this mask marvelously combines stylized forms and refined volumes.
