Important collection of 107 plays and vaudevilles published between 1849 and 1878, in uniform bindings.
Most of the plays are by Théodore Barrière (1821-1877), a playwright who wrote a large number of dramas and vaudevilles for the theater, either alone or in collaboration, many of which were highly successful at the time. Among his plays are Cendrillon (1859), Un Monsieur qui suit les femmes (1850), Le Démon du jeu (1863), Les Fausses bonnes femmes (1858), Les Ivresses ou la chanson de l'amour (1863), Les Toilettes tapageuses (1856), Les Douze travaux d'Hercule (1848), and others.
