Paris, Ladvocat, 1838-1839. 4 volumes in-8, half-red basane, name A. de Liénard gilded in capitals on the front cover, spine decorated with gilded fillets, speckled edges (Binding of the period). Memoirs of the carbonaro and freemason Andryane, who was one of Silvio Pellico and Count Confalonieri's fellow prisoners in the terrible Spielberg prison in Austria. (Vicaire, t. I, col. 63.) Copy by Sainte-Beuve, with a dispatch from the author (cut short in the margin). Margin of one leaf reinforced in volume IV. Some spotting.
